Overview
Calibre Desk is a CRM and inventory operating system for watch dealers. The Calibre Desk browser extension helps dealers send watch trade listings from supported browser sessions into their own Calibre Desk workspace.
Information we collect
We collect account and workspace information you provide, operational records you enter into Calibre Desk, and data submitted through product workflows such as inventory, clients, transactions, documents, public inquiries, and Market Radar. When you use the browser extension, it may send matching watch-listing content, source URLs, listing metadata, related images when available, extension telemetry, and connection-test results to your configured workspace.
Browser extension data
The extension runs in your Chrome browser on supported sites you open, including WhatsApp Web, Facebook, Reddit, ChatGPT, and Calibre Desk. It is designed to detect watch trade listings and send matching content to Calibre Desk. When you explicitly approve an inventory listing draft and route, the extension may insert that draft into the selected WhatsApp compose box for your review, but it does not click Send, post automatically, react to posts, buy, sell, or change your third-party account settings. The extension stores its Calibre Desk connection string, enabled state, saved source lists, and local dedupe state in Chrome extension storage. One-click connect uses a short-lived token to confirm workspace linkage with the extension and does not collect any new data categories beyond the extension data already described here.
How we use information
We use information to provide the Calibre Desk service, route captured listings into Market Radar, authenticate workspace access, maintain audit logs, send requested notifications, improve reliability, and troubleshoot support requests. We do not sell personal information or use extension data for unrelated advertising.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that operate the product, such as hosting, storage, email delivery, observability, and AI providers configured by the workspace. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, or with your direction.
Security and retention
Calibre Desk uses HTTPS, workspace-scoped access controls, audit logging, and secret handling intended to protect customer data. Workspace records are retained while the account is active unless deleted through product or support workflows, subject to operational backups and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can rotate extension connection strings from workspace Settings, disable capture in the extension popup, remove the extension from Chrome, and request support for account or workspace data questions.
Contact
For privacy or support questions, contact Calibre Desk through the email or support channel provided to your beta workspace, or use the invite request page if you do not yet have an account.
